Department Store Awards 2020

Three important awards will be presented during the Global Department Store Summit's Official Dinner & Award Ceremony, recognizing remarkable achievements by department stores.
 

• The Best Department Store in the World

This award recognises an exceptional world player that displays innovation and outstanding performances in all retail segments to all stakeholders. Criteria for the award include an enviable profile, successful developments and executions of product, store, online and service innovation strategies,  delivery of an outstanding in-store experience, excellent customer service, and strong financial performance.

 

• World's Best Window Campaign at a Department Store

This award celebrates one of the industry’s oldest and most iconic communication channels and recognises the creativity, innovation and talent of visual merchandising teams. Criteria for this award include: concept and idea, complexity, artistic component and originality/zeitgeist, quality of execution, impact on sales and footfall, as well as media coverage.

 

• World's Best CSR/Sustainability Initiative by a Department Store

The award was created in 2016 to foster greater Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility leadership among department stores and reward best-in-class practices.

Beginning of February 2020, all department stores in the world will be invited to submit their Entry Forms for the chance to win these prestigious industry trophies and awards. An international jury, composed of top former retail executives and business experts, will analyse and judge all entries to select the finalists.
